Celebrate Recovery Banner

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ Centered 12 Step ministry that meets regularly on Tuesday nights from 6-9PM. We have separate men and women small groups and combined groups that come together to share our life struggles, but more importantly the victories that we receive through Jesus Christ while working the 8 Principles and the 12 Steps.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery, a Christian Bible-based approach to recovery, is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through eight recovery principles based on the Beatitudes in a Christ-centered twelve (12) step program. By working through the principles, we grow spiritually, and we are freed from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. We will also work with you to help you find a compatible sponsor and accountability partners to help you on your road to recovery. Celebrate Recovery is the right place to be for anyone struggling with depression, anger, anxiety, stress, alcoholism, drug addiction, or other chemical dependencies, sexual issues or sex addiction, stress, fear, codependence, food addiction, compulsive behavior, and many other hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Neither the Celebrate Recovery Ministry Leader nor the Small Group Leaders will attempt to provide professional clinical advice. Our leaders are not counselors or therapists, but the church can provide contact information for Christian counselors in our area so you may pursue counseling or therapy if you so choose.

Step Study Program

Step-study groups are held during the week and meetings generally last 2 hours. Men and women, separated by gender, work through the four Participant's Guides, based on the twelve steps and their biblical comparison and follow the "5 Guidelines" during meetings. Groups meet weekly for about 12 months under the gentle and loving guidance of a trained leader and/or co-leader to let Christ help them reveal and deal with issues in their lives that have become heavy baggage.

Whatever the hurt, habit or hang-up might be, people honestly working through the material in these step-study groups are able to form strong bonds and support teams, find accountability partners, sponsors and friends through sharing and caring. Most importantly, they are able to be freed from the shame, guilt and pain of their issues by learning to let go and let God take over – one day at a time!
